Do I have to remove my wisdom teeth even if they don't hurt?
Not always. They're removed if they're badly positioned, cause decay in the neighbouring tooth or there's a risk of infection. The dentist assesses this with an X-ray.
Does a root canal save the tooth?
Yes. It removes the infection from the nerve and lets you keep the tooth instead of extracting it.
How much does an extraction or a root canal cost?
It depends on the difficulty and the tooth. You're told the price before the procedure.
How long is the recovery from an extraction?
The main discomfort lasts two or three days. We give you care instructions and, if needed, medication.
