Alma Ruth Romero Luévano

Alma Ruth Romero Luévano is originally from Guerrero. At 14 she left her home state and moved to Mexico City to finish high school and, later, to begin her training as a dental surgeon at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

During her student years she worked as an assistant at a dental clinic that treated insurance patients. Once she qualified she stayed at that same clinic, now as the lead dentist in charge of those patients.

In time she opened her own practice in the south of the city, where she worked privately for several years. After earning her certification from the Asociación Dental Mexicana she began working as an insurance dentist and, at the same time, spent a couple of years at a clinic serving Mexico City's public-security personnel as a government benefit for its workers.

Over her career she has treated patients with dental coverage from institutions such as Banco de México, Banamex and Banobras, and from insurers such as AXA and Vitamédica. Today she is part of the AMI Consultorio team, with the same approach she started with: preventive, personal, unhurried care.
